Our Story

Hey there, welcome to our shop! SSJ started early in 2020 as a stress reliever when my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. After some digging in, I was shocked to learn how many additives were used in mainstream candles and how harmful they can be to breathe in. From that point on, I knew I wanted to create a clean burning, but still beautiful smelling candles so I wouldn't have to worry about what people like my mom were breathing in.

Our  shop features seasonal candles as well as a signature line that I keep in stock year-round. These signature fragrances came to life from my memories and experiences, and are heavily influenced by my friends and family.

All candles are made with 100% natural soy wax grown in the USA and feature high quality fragrance and essential oil blends that are certified non-toxic. Our focus is on creating SAFE products for you and your loved ones, so you don't have to worry about all the worrisome additives that are in mainstream fragrance products. We are proud to be vegan friendly, cruelty free, and our fragrance is free of additives, chemicals, phthalates, hormone blockers, mutagens, and carcinogens (all the bad stuff.) Our wicks are lead and metal free, and all containers and packaging are recyclable, reusable, and eco friendly.
